Park City Restaurants To Host Bargain Meals

Want to check out some of those posh Park City restaurants, but at non-tourist prices? From October 6-20, the Park City Area Restaurant Association (PCARA) hosts its 7th Annual Dine About. You can get a two-course lunch for $10-$15 per person, or a three-course dinner for $20-$40 per person.

“In its seventh year, we are so proud Dine About continues to be an anticipated dining event for locals, guests and our restaurant community every fall,” PCARA executive director Ginger Wicks said. “It’s a unique opportunity to experience Park City’s award-winning dining and lodging options for such an incredible value.”

Fall and spring are Park City’s “shoulder season,” where most of the visitors are gone, the streets are less crowded, and many of the hotels and restaurants drop their prices to appeal to the locals. It’s a good time to take advantage. (To see how my husband and I took advantage of Ghidotti’s shoulder-season Thursday night deal, check here.)

With the Dine About, each restaurant offers a fixed-price lunch or dinner. Since the meal will vary with each restaurant, I’d call the restaurant ahead of time and ask what the Dine About special is, to make sure it’s something you’ll enjoy. Currently, the PCARA website lists the participating restaurants, but not the menu items or the specific prices. Perhaps that will change when the event gets closer.
