Biggest Loser: Yes, Scott Mitchell Is A Mormon
During a conference call interview with ousted “The Biggest Loser” contestants Scott Mitchell and Lori Harrigan-Mack, I asked the question that many fans have asking online.
He confirmed that yes, he’s a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, nicknamed “Mormons.” And Mitchell said his faith played a big role in the “Biggest Loser” process, and it was especially comforting when his father passed away.
“When my dad passed away and being in the hospital with him, and having a kind of a comforting moment that I know that wasn’t forever, my faith helps me to believe that,” Mitchell said.
He likened his experience on “Biggest Loser” to that of a caterpillar, who is now leaving its cocoon of the Ranch and Comeback Canyon, and turning into a butterfly.
“My whole journey with all this, a lot of things I found on the ranch were definitely helped by what I believed, and reinforced by what I believe,” he said.
I’ll be writing more about the interview with Scott Mitchell and Lori Harrigan Mack in future posts.
