Station Park’s Community Caring Day is June 12

Here’s a chance to give back to the local community at Station Park’s Community Caring Donation Day, Friday, June 12 from 1-5 p.m. Donate blood, school supplies and gift cards to local non-profits and get a free meal from Santorini’s Greek Grill.

ARUP’s mobile blood vehicle will be parked in a space next to Buckle, west of Fountain Square. Visit www.arupbloodservices.org to set up an appointment for blood drawing, using sponsor code B587. Walk-ins are also welcome. ARUP provides blood to the local Shriners Hospital for Children, University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics and Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Safe Harbor Crisis Center will have a booth west of Fountain Square to collect donations of gift cards for their clients. Safe Harbor provides shelter, supportive services and advocacy to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault, as well as education, awareness and resources for the community.

Young Automotive will also sponsor a booth near Fountain Square to support their Young Caring for Our Young Foundation. They are collecting school supplies and gift cards for children ages five to 18 years old.
