Veterans Day Deals
As a way to say “thanks,” many restaurants and businesses offer Veterans Day deals and discounts. Here is a list of Veteran’s Day deals, and information about a free documentary movie screening and book for Vietnam vets. I will update the list with more deals as I hear about them. Little Caesars: One free HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo offered to all veterans and active duty military members all day long on Veteran’s Day (Nov. 11). No ID required. Offer is valid at all 50 Utah Little Caesars locations. Combo includes four slices of Detroit-style deep dish pizza with pepperoni and one Pepsi-Cola® 20oz. product. No ID needed.
Dunkin Donuts: One free coffee or donut (any variety) for all active duty or retired military personnel all day long on Veteran’s Day (Nov. 11). No ID required. Offer is valid at participating Dunkin Donut locations throughout Utah.
Wingstop: One free 6-piece Boneless Wings combo for all veterans, active duty and reserve military service members on Veteran’s Day (Nov. 11). No ID required. Offer is valid at participating Wingstop locations in Taylorsville and West Jordan. The Boneless Combo includes 6 Boneless Wings, a regular homemade side, dipping sauce, and a 20 oz. drink.
Red Robin: All active duty or retired military personnel can enjoy one free Double Tavern Burger and Bottomless Fries all day long on Veteran’s Day (Nov. 11). No ID required. Offer is valid at participating Utah Red Robin locations.
Sizzler: One free lunch and beverage for all active duty or retired military personnel on Veteran’s Day (Nov. 11). No ID required. Offer is valid at participating Utah Sizzler locations.
Applebee’s, Nov. 11: A free meal to military veterans and active-duty service members on Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, 2016. There will be a special menu of seven entrées to choose from. All current and former military personnel will also receive a $5 coupon to be redeemed on additional food and beverage offerings or for a later time. Military ID or proof of service required. Boston Market, Nov. 11. Free Brownie or Cookie with any purchase for all veterans, service members, and their families. No ID required. Locations.

After the screenings, all veterans and their families (even if their loved one is deceased) will be given a copy of the documentary together with the book A Time to Honor: Stories of Service, Duty and Sacrifice. This gift is in recognition of the service and sacrifice Vietnam Veterans rendered 50 years ago, and in acknowledgment of the “welcome home” they never had during the nation’s divisive and hostile time. This Vietnam 50th Commemorative Gift is given with gratitude from the State of Utah, Miller Family Foundation, Merit Medical and Questar Corporation.
