Free Coffee At McDonald’s March 31-April 13

Wake up and smell the free coffee.  McCafé small-size coffee will be given out for free during breakfast hours starting March 31 through April 13 in participating McDonald’s restaurants.

“We’re excited to share our coffee with our customers,” said Shari Troester, an Ogden-area owner/operator in a press release.  “This is a great opportunity for them to try McCafé coffee and gives them another reason to come to us in the morning.”

To kick off the two-week campaign, McDonald’s will host spontaneous free coffee deliveries throughout the intermountain area. A local Twitter activation on @McDonalds_Utah will invite followers to tweet a location or photo of where they would like to have coffee delivered on the two Fridays of the campaign, April 4 and April 11.

Winners from Utah, western Wyoming or eastern Nevada will be surprised with a free coffee delivery to their location.

Starting in mid-April, McCafé will also surprise a Twitter follower every day this year with free coffee and prizes. Fans can also keep up with the conversations using the hash tag #McCafe or by following @McCafe.

McDonald’s launched its McCafé line-up in the U.S. in 2009, which includes iced coffees, espresso-based lattes and mochas, blended-ice beverages including smoothies and frappes, triple thick shakes as well as limited-time seasonal offerings.
