In just a few hours, an American cook will win a million dollars for a recipe here at the Pillsbury Bake-off in Las Vegas.I walked the Bake-Off floor and tasted quite a few of the 100 contenders. But I have no idea which one will win.  I did meet up with Vincy Stringham of St. George, the lone Utah finalist.  Her Ham and Cheese Mini Frittatas were pretty good.  She said she initially submitted 24 different recipes to the contest.

Some things I noticed, trend-wise: Lots of bacon and lots of sriracha sauce. I guess sriracha is the new salsa.
