Soup’s On! In Standard-Examiner

Harvest Pumpkin Soup – photo by Valerie Phillips

Ruth Malan, correspondent for the Standard-Examiner, did a story on my cookbook.

It was nice to have her come over and interview me while I made Harvest Pumpkin Soup with Cheddar.

Luckily, Ruth’s interview took place a few hours before her daughter’s newborn twins were released from the hospital. I think things got pretty hectic after that!

Since people are asking what events I’ll going to be participating in, here’s the list so far:

Nov. 3: Really Big Cooking Show at Thanksgiving Point  10 a.m.- 1 p.m. (class, samples, signing) This is going to be a great event with several cookbook authors teaching classes. The “headliner” is Liz Edmunds of the “Food Nanny” on BYU-TV. Vendor booths will be offering specials and samples, and it should be a really fun time (at least, I think I’ll have fun once my class is finished!) . Tickets are $16 at http://www.eventbrite.com/event/2101292021
I will be giving away some free tix to the Really Big Cooking Show on upcoming posts.
