Red Acre Farm CSA is not just work or what we do. It is what we believe in. It is our home. We welcome you. We want to grow and cook for you. We want you to leave happy.
By bringing the table to the farm we want to reconnect our guests to the land and the origin of their food and to honor the local farmers and food artisans who cultivate the local bounty that we enjoy here in the Cedar Valley. It’s not everyday one has the privilege to sit next to the person who planted the beans, raised the beef, shaped the cheese, or who milked the cow that was the source of that luscious cream on your plate.
After a tour of the farm, dinner will be served family style (or farm style). Discussion and questions from the guests will be encouraged. The menu will be dictated by what we freshly harvest from our farm and source from other local small family farms. The meal will be spontaneous and of the season. A menu will be on the table that evening.
The food will be created and prepared by celebrated Executive Chef Jeff Crosland, owner of Parallel 88 in Springdale, Utah.
In the end, a great meal is not about food and wine. A great meal is an experience. Not one that just leaves you full, but satisfied and feeling better. A great meal is a kind of journey that returns you to the sources of pleasure you may have forgotten and takes you to places you have been before.
