Ivory Homes 5th Annual Gingerbread Festival

Ivory2012Gingerbread (6 of 9)If you’re looking for a family-friendly festivity, check out the Ivory Homes-sponsored 5th Annual Gingerbread Festival at This is the Place Park,  2601 E. Sunnyside Ave. in Salt Lake City.

There will be 40-plus gingerbread houses on display, cookie decorating, a sweets shop, holiday games, and photos with Santa. ProceedsIvory2012Gingerbread (8 of 9) go to the Catholic Community Charities.

Cost is $5 per adult and $3 per child.

But kids 12 and under can get in free by coloring a holiday picture and bringing it with them. Go to Gingerbreadfestival.com to download the picture.
