Caputo’s Cheese Flights

Flight #1
Caputo’s is serious about cheese.

Andy Fitzgerrell, a former cheesemonger at Tony Caputo’s Market & Deli Downtown, is back with the Caputo family and launching a new Cheese Flights program at Caputo’s on 15th.

To kick off the cheese program,  Caputo’s on 15th is hosting an Open House on Saturday, April 12, 4 p.m. There will be cheese sampling stations, live music and patio seating for enjoying the spring weather and the 15th and 15th neighborhood charm.  Admission to the event is free, with cheese flights and alcohol purchased separately.

Served on locally crafted wood cheese boards by Heritage Workshop, each cheese
flight is comprised of three types of cheeses. The idea of a “flight” is that the cheeses complement each other, and enhance the overall experience.

The featured cheeses have been carefully selected and vetted by Fitzgerrell and Matt Caputo, both American Cheese Society Certified Cheese Professionals. Each Cheese Flight starts with a softer, subtle cheese, and then increases in flavor and complexity with the next two.

The Cheese Flight program has an optional wine or beer pairing.
